Prakash Raj to start Acting Academy

Acting power house Prakash Raj has announced a plan to set up an acting school in south India to train actors. Prakash Raj revealed this plan while speaking at the 125 days celebration event of his first directorial venture ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ on Sunday.
‘Prakash Raj Academy of Acting’ will most probably set up in either Hyderabad or Bangalore on 20 acres of land. An American Indian Mr Prasad has come forward to invest Rs.300 crores in Indian film industry and Prakash Raj is the prize catch for him.
With the American NRI the meeting with Karan Johar, Aamir Khan, Prakash Raj the first meeting was held recently and the outcome of it is ‘Prakash Raj Academy of Acting’. The NRI investor is keen on funding Rs.20 crores on this acting Academy says Prakash Raj.
Prakash Raj sitting next to his wife Pony Verma at The Bell Hotel in Bangalore said he has two projects in Telugu, two in Tamil, two in Kannada and three projects in Hindi lined up from Duet Movies. Most probably the four language film he is planning to take up side by side of a Kannada film a remake of ‘Aithe’.

Not just Rajini fans and film buffs, but celebrities too are equally expecting the D-day. As R Parthiban said at the trailer launch function in Chennai Saturday, “We don’t want any money or gifts for attending this event. But a ticket for Endhiran”.
And Rajini fans, whose list is endless, were cheered across the State and burst crackers besides performing ‘Palabhishekam’ and distributing sweets to mark the ‘Endhiran’ trailer release. In other words, a festival mood prevailed at theatres all over Tamil Nadu where the trailer was screened.
Over to Shankar, the man, who lets his movies to do all the talking, was excited to talk about ‘Endhiran’. “It is a science fiction and hence demanded state-of-the-art technology in filmmaking. The Superstar had been very co-operative right from the day one and even visited the United States a couple of times for animation purposes.”
Showering praises on Rajini, Sun Pictures CMD and the proud producer of ‘Endhiran’, Kalanithi Maran, said, “No one can equal Rajinikanth. If there is a Superstar in Indian cinema, that is Rajini alone. Shankar always combines mass and class elements and doubly so is ‘Endhiran’. With Rajini, he has created a magic on screen which will bring laurels to Indian cinema in general and Tamil cinema in particular. Rajini is a legend and he has honestly worked for two years to ensure all is well with Endhiran”.
