Chithiram Pesudhadi was the successful film of director Mysskin. Naren, Bhavana, Gana Ulaganathan and many others who have acted in the film have all earned good name because of Mysskin. Now the director after a long hiatus is directing Anjadhey. In an exclusive interview to the press, he talks about his latest movie Anjadhey.

Why is it so long time for you to produce Anjadhey after Chithiram Pesudhadi?
Immediately, after the release of Chithiram Pesudhadi, I started my work for the next film Nandalala. Six songs of the film was recorded for the purpose under the music direction of Ilaiyaraja. P.C.Sriram was the camera man for the film. I have trained up a six year old child for the film’s acting. I selected a girl for the heroine post and also I gave her training. I spent most of my time for Nandalala, but could not continue for some reasons. It was a bad experience in my life. Due to the failure of producing the Nandalala, I have become mentally restless for sometime. Now I am away from the mental agony and I have started producing Anjadhey.

Is the Anjadhey is the true story?
The story of Anjadhey is the story of two friends. My friend in real life has become a police. He is doing his services somewhere sincerly. He is the stickler for me to produce this Anjadhey film. I have quoted several real incidents in this film.

Why you have made hero Prasanna as the villain Prasanna?
I was in search for a new face for the villain character of the film. But Prasanna volunteered him to act in the villain role; however I told him and cautioned him that the villain character would bring him a bad name in the public, after the release of the film. But he didn't mind about that, but was very particular to do the role, since he said he was vexed with doing hero role always in more than 10 films. So no other way, I had to give him the role.
