Director P.Vasu who met some press reporters has said, that they had to give chance to actress Meena, because Simran demanded an unexpected salary for acting in Kuselan. Earlier, the film unit tried Simran to act in Chandramuki film. But that could not be made by Chandramuki producers. When approached Simran, she said that she was in the family way when Chandramuki was produced. She never demanded any high salary from the producers of the Kuselan film. She could not act in the film, because, her prior commitment with the TV channels programmes and said that the director Vasu and many others had been propagating that she demanded a high salary.
