Mumai Khan after acting in Dr Rajasekaran's Udambu Eppadi Irukku film as Mysamma Police Officer role, expected that the character would bring her luck to do a lot of character roles in her next films. She got a role in a Telugu film Mysamma and did her best in the film. For some reasons, the film did not run well. Upset by the failure of the film, she wanted again to become an item-song-dancer, because, many of her fans expected her dance in films. Recently, Mumai Khan danced for Vambu Sandai for an item song.
