Pirivom Sandhipom is a film has no violence and no fights. For the first time, in the history of Tamil films, Producer Karu Palaniappan in his fourth film has handled the film's story in such a way that no one should raise questions for not showing calamities or anything that might wound the minds of others. Sometime, the history of films called Golden Era and Karu is heading for this era through non-violence though he does not belong to the Gandhism.

Pirivom Sandhipom has no vulgar scenes and no one shown as bad character in this film. How then the film will be success? ask many. But, Karu has the knack of producing such films which could be viewed with family members and making the audience to sit tightly in their chairs without making them move for a puff of air or for coffee.

According to the producer, the life itself is a complicated one. In this life, all are good and no one is bad. But according to circumstances they caught in the web of problems. But viewing human life from other side, the life could be spent without any problems. How? That is what the Pirivom Sandhipom tells us.

The problem of Sneha in this film starts even before three months of her marriage. And the problem pulls on for another six more months after the marriage. This is mileage of the film's story. Karu tells that just as a person in his mother's womb rests for ten months to come out to this world, the story of the Pirivom Sandhipom is filmed with the problems of Sneha's before marriage and after her marriage.

In this film Karu has introduced new faces which can't be counted along with popular artistes like Cheran, Jayram and Sneha. In this film Cheran is an Electrical Engineer working in the department of Electricity and Sneha is an educated but unemployed.

Karu also tells the film story not only revolves around Sneha and Cheran but it is a conglomeration of many individuals' stories. The heavy weight of the story is ultimately shouldered by each and every individual actor who act in the film. Karu calls it that it is a car festival in which all the people living in a village pulls the car of a temple. He says it is Therottam.

The entire shooting of the film was shot in semi-urban area like Karaikudi to Pollachi, beside some scenes were filmed in Hyderabad. Pirivom Sandhipom was filmed in 79 film roles and the film unit had spent 69 days to complete the entire film.

There are six songs in the film with fine tuning and penned in good Tamil with literary background like Adukku Thodar (alliteration), Andhadhi (four line songs), Sankeera Ani, Thanmaiyani, Uvamaiani.

Super 35 Technique which has been in vogue for action films was used in this film for the family story.

Karu says, in the Pirivom Sandhipom there are only one song sequence to which the actress had given lip movement. The other songs are shown along with important scenes of the film. While there is a system in vogue that any producer would take liberty to do fighting scenes and songs sequences as per his wishes which sometime override the natural scene of the film.

If anyone asks Sneha which film she likes most in which she had done her role exceedingly well, she would say Parthiban Kanavu. Now, after the release of this film she would include this Pirivom Sandhipom film also.

When there are many producers who want to produce films by keeping profit as motto this film is an exception for the producers M.Subaskaran and Raju Mahalingam of the Gnanam Films.

The film is likely to be released for the Pongal. Music Director Vidya Sagar and Cinematographer M.S.Prabhu and lyricists Kabilan, Yuga Bharathi and Jayantha have contributed their excellent skill for the film. Story, Screen Play, dialogues and direction are all handled by Karu Palaniappan.
